SOURCE: Canon mx700 rejecting remanufactured ink cartridges

big issue with remanufacturing is how integritous is the fit of the cartridge, and also the interface. When these are re cut, so to speak, tolerances can stack up, and one thing about Canon, is they are a stickler for tolerances. You may have an issue with the cartridge fitting in the carriage, but not interfacing with the system. Happens sometimes..

SOURCE: canon printer mp270 with error code 5200 ( ink

Often it can be caused by dirty contacts on the print head, so clean them with contact cleaner or methylated spirits this may just fix your problem, try that before you do anything else If not that, then it may be Over heating or Under heating of the print head assembly, according to manufacturer.... replace head assembly...

SOURCE: how to fix error code 5200 on canon printer MP258?

Here's the procedure. This code is normally encountered after refilling an ink cartridge and replacing the cartridge. Turn off printer. Hold down Stop/Reset button with one hand and turn printer on with other hand. After green light comes on for the ON button, press the Stop/Reset button two times and you should see the green light blink off and the orange alarm light blink "on" with the first press and then the green light comes back on for the power button and the orange light goes off with the second press (if you did it correctly). Now, you need to hold down the ON button about five seconds, then let go to shut OFF the printer. When you turn it back on, the printer should be back to the factory original condition. Make sure you set all your printer properties the way you want them again from your printer properties dialog boxes because some of the settings may have been stored in the printer's EEPROM, which you just reset to get rid of the offending alarm code.

Canon pixma mp110

Dear team2,
Code 5200 indicates 'Ink cartridge temperature rise' error occurs. This error commonly happens when cleaning operation is performed. First, please check if there is enough ink in ink tanks. Cleaning with empty ink tank may cause this problem. If you are sure that you have enough ink in ink tanks means that the print head of the printer is faulty and need replacement.
Hope this will be useful for you. Please rate me as Fixya.
