How do you reset the error code c7990 - Kyocera FS1128MFP AllInOne Laser Printer

Apologies for the late reply. This is a waste toner full problem. Pull out the process unit (in case you don't know, it's the big black unit where you fit your toner into, also the one that you need to remove to check for paper jams. Turn it around so that the side where the toner fits is furthest away from you. Now on the side closest to you, on both the left and right hand side are two small covers, each fastened with 1 screw, hidden in deep holes. Remove these screws and covers, and empty the toner inside.

Be advised that this is a very messy job. Also, after you've removed these covers and you turn the unit on its side, the toner may not fall out. in this case stick a screwdriver or something in there to loosen the toner.

When done, refit the covers, place the unit back into the machine, restart the machine, and thats it. If the code still appears, you've got toner on the waste toner full sensor, which sits just above where the waste toner part of the process unit is, inside the machine. you can take a cloth and wipe this. although this is highly unlikely, nothing in this industry surprises me anymore.

if this still fails, you could have a faulty sensor or circuit board, but again, highly unlikely

El error corresponde a "deposito de desecho lleno"; Sacas la unidad completa donde va el toner, colocas la pestilla verde donde la flecha indica cleaner, en cada lado lateral trae un tornillo en un agujero profundo, quitarlos y luego quitar las tapas pequeñas, vacias el contenido en la basura y listo.. (favor no hacerlo con ropa blanca porque queda negra)
