The printer continues in Self Test, the printer is stuck at this point as it tries to continue to cycle through the power up.
Try to power on the printer without the toner kit and the waste toner box. If the printer stacks again at self test. Next step.... remove one part at time and check if the printer displays any message. First remove the developer unit and power on the machine (normal message "Missing Developer Unit"). Then pull out the fuser unit and power on the machine (normal message "Close Rear Cover"). And finally, remove the Drum Unit and power on the printer (normal message "Call Service 7410").
If the printer still stacks at Self Test, then that is not a good sign. Try to upgrade the printer' s firmware (system + engine). There is a possibility to go further from Self Test.
If it does not, then you have to replace the main pwb.

Replace toner clean printer command
If your Lexmark printer is displaying the message "replace toner clean printer," and you have already checked that the toner is full, there might be an issue with the toner cartridge or the printer's sensors. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:
- Remove and Reinsert Toner Cartridge: Turn off the printer and open the front cover to access the toner cartridge. Carefully remove the toner cartridge and then reinsert it firmly into the printer. Make sure it is seated correctly in its slot.
- Check for Obstructions: Inspect the printer's interior for any paper jams, debris, or other obstructions that might be interfering with the toner cartridge or the printer's sensors.
- Check Toner Sensor: The printer has sensors that detect the toner level. Sometimes, these sensors can become dirty or malfunction. Locate the toner sensor (usually a small window or sensor on the toner cartridge) and ensure it is clean and not obstructed.
- Reset Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a minute or two. Plug the printer back in and turn it on again. This can sometimes clear temporary errors.
- Check Toner Cartridge Contacts: Ensure that the contacts on the toner cartridge and inside the printer (where the toner cartridge makes contact) are clean and free from dirt or toner residue.
- Check Printer Settings: Verify that the printer settings are correctly set to recognize the installed toner cartridge. If the printer allows you to manually set the toner cartridge type, make sure it matches the actual cartridge installed.
- Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Lexmark printer. Updating the printer's firmware may address known issues and improve printer performance.
- Try a Different Toner Cartridge: If you have access to another compatible toner cartridge, try using it in the printer to see if the issue is specific to the current cartridge.
