Do you have a fan blade replacement?

These fan blades are made of a special plastic that can not be glued. Finding a replacement blade might be not worth the trouble. Maybe it pays to just buy another fan.

Hello, My modell is unbearable noisy while cooling the videocard, what can i do? Thanks for the answers

Hi
My laptop msi 6837D Intel Core 2 DUO CPU 2.0 GHZ, TYPE T5750
WAS PROBLEM WITH VERY NOISE FAN.
FOUR SCREW UNDER LAPTOP NEED TAKE OUT.
ON LITTLE GAP SHAPE U PUT SHORT SCREDRIVER AND TAKE OUT PLASTIC COVER, this plastic cover is having around little clips/ ears.
you WILL BE SEE FAN.
TAKE TWEEZER AND TRY CLEAN FAN.
FAN HAVING 4x very little screw- use magnetic scredriver.
Between sheetmetal and plastic insert 9cm long plastic pipe already fixed with WD 40 spray( or Astral ,...) , push him to side where is axis for fan , bottom side and spray only 0.5 s. Turn laptop back to normal position and oil will be slowly fallen down, still turning fan with finger for little while. Try again second time and will be enough oil for fan. Dont spray from air have to be long pipe touching axis with bearings.
IF is still very noisy the FAN so probably is too much worn and have to be replaced by new.

Holmes HABF20 floor/box fan: broke one of the plastic feet that steadies the fan on the floor. Super glue no help. Are there replacement pieces available?

If you can't find a replacement plastic foot. You should be able to find rubber feet at a local Radio Shack. Replace the plastic feet with rubber feet. It will do the same. You may be able to find self-adhesive feet.

Good luck!

I have a Hampton Bay Fan: Model# 104-478 Vendor# 445993 Can use a plastic UL rated ceiling outlet box for this fan?

You can use a plastic box provided it's listed for fan support. That is, the box can't provide the sole means of supporting the weight of the fan. There are a variety of suitable fan boxes and braces in both plastic and metal available, as well as information on properly installing a ceiling fan, at the big home improvement places. There are also many how-to sites with instructions and video on installing a fan so it meets the latest NEC requirements.

Cant remove the fan from the ceiling and the top ring wont turn

The top skinny ring that is made of plastic is the one that needs to turn. The metal bell shaped piece does not turn. My plastic ring would not turn either. I took a flat blade screwdriver and stuck it between the plastic ring and metal bell shaped piece. I gently pryed the plastic ring away from the bell shaped piece. The plastic ring has 4 screws that hold it in place, they are at the 8 oclock, 10 oclock, 2 and 4 oclock positions. The ring has to be turned counter-clockwise when looking up at the fan from underneath. Once the ring is off take the 4 screws out and the fan will come down.

Warm refrigerator

yes, the plastic fan blade is only held on by the pressure of the plastic on the metal shaft. if the plastic hole is worn and the fan doesn't fit tight, then you may want to replace the plastic fan.

Change light bulb

I have a fan just like that one to change a light bulb all you have to do is unscrew it from the fan itself and if that dosnt work then unscrew the plastic cover or unscrew a screw on the plastic cover
