Cd player suddenly stopped playing. it loads the cd but will not play but kicks the cd out every time.

I had this same problem and realized after reading the manual that this model does not play mp3's. They use the same manual for the g140 and the g240 (the model which plays mp3s).

i had same problem.check both power leads are working[blown fuse or broken wire]. then make sure ground wire is well connected. that took care of it for me & i was about to throw it away.

i have been servicing car audio for 20 years if the lens is god driven then its probably your lens have you ever had i hand cleaned? by a service pro start there if it still plays up then the take up rollers or latch tray are damaged and the unit will have to be replaced ..... there is only 1 way to tell if a lens is any good you have to use a special lazer disc was this used when tested
