If your question is to ASK for instructions regarding the KIT you mentioned, either go to KRUPS.COM online and see if you can find what you're looking for there. If NOT, then call KRUPS on their 800 free number and ask for customer service, and then ask your question to them: where you can get the info you need.

I have a krups anticalc kit f054-00 for my espresso machine, but there are no english instructions and I don't know how it works.

Most major manufacturers supply manuals online so if you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, you may be pleasantly surprised as usually, if available, one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, Dealer Network for spare part supplies as required.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

On my Ariston AL 109X, I cant open the pump drain plug on the bottom of the machine. I have turned it anticlockwise as instructed, but it wont come off.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Had the same problem with our Bosch, cap would not even turn!
Suggestions- first have loads of patience, then-
pour anticalc/limescale fluid into any gap there is around the cap. Empty the machine and you can switch it off providing the door is open! Then pour the contents of at least 2 sachets of proprietary anticalc powder/liquid into the drum direct together with a kettle full of boiling water. Leave overnight at the very least. The following day run just a spin cycle as then there will be no water diluting the mix. This mix will go through the filter and motor and is likely to help release the filter/cap. If you feel like it, do the overnight again. If nothing else it will ensure that the heater element is clean!
I had to spend a couple of hours gently turning the cap back and forth until it finally released its hold- but the filter did not remain attached to the cap by its rubber ring. More patience, anticalc fluid and all was revealed!
I now run an anticalc clean regularly............which reminds me..............!
Good luck

My Tefal Steam generator needs de-scaling i have the kit but I have lost the instructions

you can download new instructions from the web. Remove the anticalc cover at the side and unscrew the metal nut, take care to ensure the little rubber seal is still inside the nut and not stuck to the opening. Plug one end of the hose into the iron ( it will fit without moving as it can only go in one way) connect the other end to the tap, turn on the tap and watch it flush out all the build up. leave it flushing for a few minutes then turn off the water. personally I then empty all the water from the base and then put the nut and cover back on fill up the tank and iron.

Krups Anticalc Kit for descaling. There is no information in the box how to use this kit. How much water to add?. How long does it sit for? How many times does one boil the water after the descaling...

Cleaning the Machine
- Never wash your espresso machine accessories in the dishwasher.

After use, the water container must be emptied.

• Drip tray
This must be emptied after using the appliance by taking off the grid See figure (19)below. If several espressos are being prepared one after the other, the drip tray should be emptied from time to time (about once every 7 - 8 espressos). The presence of water is normal and does not signify a leak. If necessary, clean the drip tray and its grid with water and a little non-abrasive washing-up liquid, rinse and dry. When reassembling the machine, ensure that the plastic lining is in the right place See figure (20) below.

• The brewing head, the filter basket and the filter holder

These must be cleaned after each use. All you need to do is wipe a damp cloth over the brewing head of your appliance and to wash the other accessories in water and a little non-abrasive dishwashing liquid, rinse and dry. If the brewing head is heavily clogged up, unscrew the grid using a coin, clean it and refit it, pressing down firmly See figure (21)below.
When your espresso machine is not being used, do not leave the filter holder in the appliance to prevent wear on the gasket.

• The cup warming plate: remove this to clean it with water and a little non-abrasive dishwashing liquid, rinse and dry.

• The cappuccino accessory

For more thorough cleaning the cappuccino accessory can be dismantled from the appliance.

Descaling

Descalling (SIC) is necessary to keep your espresso machine running efficiently.

As a result descaling of your espresso machine should be done fairly frequently
with citric or tartaric acid.

• Use caution when descaling your espresso machine as the acid substance within the descaling powder may damage countertops or any other surface it comes in contact with.

However, we would advise you to use the reference solution as W F054 that is available from Krups. Descaling depends on the hardness of the water, but also on the frequency of use.

To descale, follow the following method:

• Unscrew the grid from the brewing head of the appliance and clean it See figure (21)below.
• Dissolve a packet of KRUPS descaling solution in 17 oz1510 ml of lukewarm water and pour the whole batch into the empty water container.
• Place a container under the brewing head. Run through about 1/3 of the liquid immediately, setting the selector to the position See figure (9)below.
• Stop the appliance, leaving the position See figure (9)below engaged and wait for 10 - 15 minutes to allow the descaler to take effect.
• Next, start the machine again and allow the rest of the liquid to run through.
• Then rinse with two water containers of fresh water and replace the grid on the head of the appliance (see section on “Cleaning the machine”).

The warranty does not include espresso machines that do not function, or do not function properly, because descaling has not been carried out.
