Electrolux Unirapido not working green light flashes when start button is pressed!

I have the same problem with this type of vacum. I have tried a lot of things but the problem is with the software included in a 20 pins chip on the pcb so it can not be repaired. But, if you look in the back of the vacum there is a rubber stopper wich hides 2 pins. Maybe those pins can be used to reset the vacums pcb. I really dont know because in can't test it any more. I solved my vacum bypassing the vacum mainboard (pcb). Now my internal battery is directly connected to the 2 motors using a simple switch to powering on and off. The original pcb is conected only to the batery, recharghing wires and led wires so i can recharge the batery as usual. Sorry for my english, hope you understanded what i was trying to explain. good luck

Riccar 100 thermal switch on vacum doesn't reset

If the button will not reset it is possible it has not tripped. They can go bad but it is very rare. You can remove the wires from it'll bypass it. If the vacuum runs after you bypass it then it should be replaced.

I removed the power head and when I connected it back, it won't work. Is there a reset button?

No, you just need to clean the connections - or make certain you have a good connection.

Bissell won't start

no reset (self resetting motor) Pull the plu,g leave it off for a day, plug it in a try it again tomorrow. If it doesn't work, the motor is gone

You also need to make sur ethat you get the vacuum back together correctly, some vacums put a swithc in there so that you can't hurt yourself while performing this repair

VACUM WILL NOT TURN ON

Hello Joanne,
First off, are you sure that where you plug it in has power? If so.. look around the lower portion of the vacuum cleaner body for a small red reset button,, some vacs have a circuit breaker that can be reset simply by pushing the button back in. If you don't find one, please provide information on the make and model of your vac and perhaps I can assist further. ( you may have a break in the power cord or something simple like that)..
Regards,
Rick

Oreck XL 21

My old vacume had the same problem - the wire had a 'plug' on both ends. 1 to the wall outlet and 1 to the vacume, which you could pull out of the vacume. It was making poor contact at the vacume and eventialy burned out (melted)
See if the plug/wire to the unit is removable, if so is it damaged?,
could need a cleaning, or it may not be pushed in all the way.

Good Luck
