Playing xbox (NOT 360, the old one)

I am trying to use the pelican spirit wireless as a second player in conjunction with the original cord handheld that came with the game. It has batteries, green light comes on but game and xbox doesn't resond. I assume the 4 channels coincide with the 4 inputs on the xbox, is there something that goes with the spirit that plugs into the xbox. I am lost. I go to split screen but player 2 never responds when I hit start. HELP, I am gaming retarded.

Xbox 360 controller blinks twice then shut off. Been trying to play old Xbox games but the controller will not blink more than two times.

This may mean that your console is suffering from a power problem here . If your console not receiving enough power it will turn off whatever is wireless to conserve the power to keep the console on. Make sure you are not plugged into any surge protectors or and any extension cords.
If the controller is only flashing twice and not connecting to your console If you are playing on your Xbox 360 you can turn the console off by holding the power button for about 10 seconds and once it is turned off you can unplug the Xbox 360 for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in and power it on.It could just be a bad controller then or the controller needs to have the battery pack in it be replaced.Or it is a broken controller.

Xbox360 wont play origanal xbox games

Some XBox games have both a 360 and original XBox version, so you can't play them on the 360. Other games simply aren't compatible. Your game may fall into one of those two groups.

Wireless not working

Run the network tests from within the 360 menus - looking especially at the result for network address translation (NAT). If this is either limited or fail, you will need to change your router for one which is compatible with xbox live. Try xbox.com to work out which routers are recommended.

As far as your router kicking him when you connected your pc, then you must have altered the access permissions of the router maybe by accident.

If all else fails, turn off the pc, router, modem and 360. Find the reset button on your router and press/hold this for at least five seconds. Turn on the modem, then the router. Let that settle for a minute, then connect and setup 360 and laptop.

Link Your Console to Another Console

Console-to-Console Connection: Wireless Some Xbox games offer console-to-console, or system-link, play, in which two or more players (depending on the game) can wirelessly network their consoles for multiplayer use. Console-to-console wireless networks are also known as ad-hoc networks. In ad-hoc networks, a wireless adapter on one device connects directly to a wireless adapter on another device. An Internet connection isn't shared with this type of network, and the console-to-console connection is typically temporary. For console-to-console play, you need: Two Xbox 360 consoles. Two Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapters. An Xbox 360 game that supports system link play. To wirelessly connect your console to another console: Attach an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter to the back of each console as described in Use Your Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter. On each console, go to the System area to enter your network settings. (They will be the same for each console.) If all settings are correct, exit the System area. The consoles should now be wirelessly connected to each other.
