My Pelican PL-3669 Wireless Gaming Adaptor and Mac.... how to connect?

Hi, I'm on vacation right now, and I brought my XBOX 360 along with me so I could still keep intact with my friends back home. I tried using my Pelican Wireless Adapter (which hasn't given me any problem in the past with my network) with my grandma's Airport network, and I loaded everything onto the adapter correctly, but it still wouldn't connect the X360 to the network. I've looked EVERYWHERE for help on this topic, but it seems no one else has a problem with this. Is there any advice you could give me?

My pelican wireless network adapter(PC) stopped working one day. Only 3 of the 4 lights light up and I can't connect to xbox live. I've reinstalled and reset and reinstalled. Nothing works!

If you have a secure network like I do, with mac filtering; curiously in addition to the mac address for the wireless adapter the xbox 360 has its own mac address - both must be entered for it to work right. And, the mac address is buried in advanced settings. Hope that helps.

When it askes for the encription key, it ether mean for your router password(if it's not 8 didgets, put 1's on the end) OR its wants you to create a password.

How do i link the pelican remote to the xbox 360?

There should be several USB ports on your 360. There should be one in the back and two in the front lower part of the console. It is hidden beneath a small flap you can push in with your fingers and slide the cable into the usb

My network is using a linksys wireless G router and i can't seem to get the right settings put into the xbox menu because it doesn't find my network

In regards to your wireless connection issue with your XBOX 360 do you have the wireless adaper connected to the XBOX. Note most XBOX 360's do not have a built in wireless adapter, some of the Elites do but most do not.

Hope this helps

Wireless not working

Run the network tests from within the 360 menus - looking especially at the result for network address translation (NAT). If this is either limited or fail, you will need to change your router for one which is compatible with xbox live. Try xbox.com to work out which routers are recommended.

As far as your router kicking him when you connected your pc, then you must have altered the access permissions of the router maybe by accident.

If all else fails, turn off the pc, router, modem and 360. Find the reset button on your router and press/hold this for at least five seconds. Turn on the modem, then the router. Let that settle for a minute, then connect and setup 360 and laptop.

Pelican Cooling stand for Xbox 360?

hi dirtrider,
The ive used many fans such as the interloper, and they all were faulty, didnt work very well, and some were extremly loud.
The pelican, although, is what I us now, and I have yet to find anything wrong with it, the looks are kinda weird but its worth it, also rememberto turn the fan on/off at the right times, because its powered by usb, and theres power feeding through it constantly while its turned on.
Good luck, and happ gaming.
