I have a eidw6105gw1, I purchased it 3 days ago. I have the manual but it does not say when you know a cycle is complete and it is time to unload, it doesn't beep, the lights don't go out, also what dry setting I need to use and how. I let the dishwasher run on normal cycle, 4 hour later clean and normal lights were still on. I left it and when I got up in the motning the same lights were on and when I opened the door dishes were still wet, damp smelling. Don't know what I'm doing wrong? Frustrated

hi
mine had this exact same problem - it turns out that the relay on the control board had not been soldered on properly. mine has shorted out over time, and caused a lot of charing of the localised area. i checked the relay, it was okay, so have resoldered the board and all is working for now.
i called Electrolux - 1800 001 218 - to report the problem, as i believe there are too many peoplew reporting this issue for it to be a one off. i was also concerned about a fire risk, as the charing on mine was considerable.
too be blunt, Electrolux didn't seem to care too much, unless if i wanted to pay to have someone come look at it, despite the fact that i am an electrician.
Electrolux currently say that this is the first time this problem has been reported - despite that fact they are aware of this thread. i would encourage anyone whoi has this fault to call the above number and report your problems to them, as i believe a recall may be waranted, and, should your unit have serious problems (fire) it is on record.
Electrolux currently have a recall on a couple of other dishwashers due to the fact they pose potential fire risks - see www.recalls.gov.au
SOURCE: Dishwasher 3 in 1 detergent tablet not dissolving.
I believe that the instructions for using these 3-in-1 tablets is to place it in the open dish detergent cup, rather than in the closable compartment, since the tablet needs to get doused by a lot of water in oder to fully dissolve and be effective in getting the dishes clean.
Since the tablets are designed to dissolve more slowly, they are able to be used for the entire range of washing cycles. If it's a constant problem and you don's have an open detergent cup below or next to your closed detergent dispenser, just toss it into the bottom of the dishwasher instead.
The reason that the tablet isn't getting dissolved fully is because the door is preventing the tablet from dropping all the way out and the door is shielding the tablet from quite a bit of water spray.
Another option is to take a look at your owners manual for the dishwasher and see if they recommend these all-in-one tablets versus regular powered detergent and liquid rinse aid.
Hope that helps and best regards!

SOURCE: electrolux dishwasher all lights blinking and wont
Remove the toe kick by loosening 2 screws. There is a panel there with little lights that correspond to specific problems. The light that is on will correspond to the problem that the dishwasher has detected. Correct the problem and you should be good to go. I have no idea why this is not in the instruction manual. A common one is that there us a leak that the dishwasher has detected, normally in the drain pipe.
