Dishwasher starts flashing lights when it is turned on

Although you might not still need the info, I still post my findings which might help others. I had the same issue as you described, I found that the 4.7uf 400v electrolytic cap on the control pcb (c31)has failed, it holds only little of its capacitance and esr has gone up crazy high about 150ohm, simply replace it with same value (pay attention to polarity)and it works as new. Btw the other 3 brown colour caps are very high quality elna brand ones, they measured good as new, the one(light blue) failed is random unknown brand, no surprise.47de07bf-ea12-4371-a9a3-c89f1e75f96b-anqucjijec1ouly5tzjkghxu-6-0.jpeg

Hi i just bought Electrolux Dishwasher ESF2433W When i first time turn it on, the "Normal" button light keep on flashing with beeping sound. According to the trouble shooting manual, it actually refe

If you just bought Dishwasher ESF2433W I suggest you contact an authorized service center because the appliance is under warranty.. E4 : if overflow micro-switch is act and keep for longer than 2 seconds, the E4 would occur. At the same time, the buzzer will alarm for 30 seconds and error 4 will be shown. Sometimes defects are generated by incorrect transportation appliances so that should be taken into consideration. Dado

Hello JOHN, thanks for your post! From the information you have provided your Electrolux dishwasher is displaying error code 4. "E4" stands for drying damper which means it could be a potential problem with your damper or the main control. I would recommend performing a reset and that could clear any false error codes. To reset your dishwasher flip the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not help correct the issue I would recommend having a professional technician out to properly repair it. Good luck. -Matt

Error code 01 on elecrolux dishwasher EIDW6305GSI

Usually the error code 01 means you backed up water in the unit. First be sure that the drain is clear.  Run the garbage disposal and be sure your sinks are draining.

I got lucky on a EIDW6105 unit by trying this.

All the lights are flashing and it shows error code 01.

Push down on two of the buttons and hold (I pushed on the Favorite and Heavy buttons), until the flashing stops (about 8 seconds).

The machine now showed and error code 08.  Then hit the start button.  My washer then cleared and runs normally.

Hope this helps, better than a sevice call to clear the code.

Why is water not heating in cycle?

Hello Kevin, thank you for your post! From my understanding your Electrolux dishwasher is not fully dissolving the detergent tablet. It may not be an issue with the water heating up it could be a possible problem with the water not receiving adequate pressure or not enough water. Does your dispenser have any build up inside of it? Have your spray arms been recently cleaned? I would recommend cleaning the dispenser and spray arms out. I can also provide you with information regarding any heater inside of your dishwasher. In order to do so I need your model number. You can locate your model number on the inside wall of your dishwasher. With this information I would be happy to assist you further. -Matt

I need help, my Electrolux dishlex DX302 is having issues. Th lights for the type of wash and the time panel are flashing constantly. The program button doesn’t work and it seems to reset every time I try and set it. Can someone tell me what’s wrong or how to fix it DIY? I can’t afford to buy a new dishwasher so please help!

These dishwashers have a control panel lock feature that allows you to lock the control panel to prevent kids from activating the unit. To toggle lock/unlock mode, open the door, press and hold the AIR DRY button for 4 seconds.

I have an electrolux dishwasher

Sorry for the delay in replying to you, but there has been a technical fault and we have not been able to answer your question.

The 6105G does not have a numeric display, so all of the LEDs flash when a fault is detected, but this does not indicate which fault has been detected. Resetting the dishwasher should clear the error message, but if there is a fault, the flashing LEDs will return after resetting the washer and further investigation will be needed to determine the cause of the fault.

You should be able to reset the dishwasher by entering the engineering test mode and then cancelling it:

1. Switch off the main power to the dishwasher or reset the breaker.
2. Switch the power on again.
3. Press SANITIZE and DELAY START simultaneously.
4. Press the START/CANCEL button to exit
5. Reset the power again.

Please try the above, then let me know if you the error persists and you need further assistance. You can reply to me by clicking on "Add a Comment" below your question.

My Electrolux dishlex dx303 has stopped heating water. I have resoldered relay with no change. Please help

Hello there and welcome to fixya. I understand that your machine has stopped heating there is a few things that may cause this if you can give me just a bit more info i think we can figure out what is going on does the unit sound like it is trying to heat normally there will be a sound coming from the unit as it heats up if not if you are able to you may want to check your cycle timer or the heating element itself check them for ohms ..with a meter if you have one. You can also unplug the machine and quickly press and hold the power button in for a minimum of 45 seconds to allow the circuit computer to reset itself then release the button and wait 10 min then plug in the machine and see if a error code comes up ok Please do this and let me know what the outcome is, there is still a lot more i can have you check but i want you to check the most simple thing first ok Please keep me posted Best regards Michael

DUSHWASHER ELECTROLUX EIDW6105GW0 1. won't start when pushing start button 2. all lights flashing 3. BUT after 5-10 days of not working starts normally but usually for one-two runs, then cycle repeats

Dishwasher does not / will not start but the power is on Last updated 30/09/2020 08:52 Issue
  • Dishwasher does not / will not start but the power is on
Applies to
  • integrated dishwasher
  • freestanding dishwasher
Resolution 1. Make sure the door is fully closed. Open and close the door again. If there is a click, this indicates that the door was closed properly. 2. Make sure the delay start function is disabled. Consult the user manual for detailed instructions on disabling this mode. 3. Check if the previous cycle is still in progress. If a cycle is still in progress it needs to be cancelled before programming the next cycle. To cancel the cycle, please read the section regarding cancelling cycles in the user manual for the dishwasher. On some models, the panel will show how you reset a cycle. Resetting may vary depending on the model so it is a good idea to check or download the user manual. 4. Check if "Ultra-quiet" or "Night" options are selected: These options involve long pauses in the wash cycle, lasting up to 20 minutes. The cycle may still be running. 5. Check if there are any error messages or alarms: The error message can be a flashing LED, a sequence of beeps or a code shown on the display. Consult your user manual for detailed information on how to resolve the issue. 6. Check for possible power issues:
  • Make certain that the appliance is plugged in and switched on.
  • Plug another device into the same socket to determine whether there is power.
  • If the socket does not work, contact a local electrician to resolve the issue.
7. Check if there are tripped relays or a blown fuse.
  • Reset the circuit-breaker / RCD device or replace the fuse.
  • You can reset the circuit-breaker by pushing the switch to the "ON" position.
8. The cycle may not start due to the lack of overlap between the lock and the diamond (applies to AirDry dishwashers). To resolve this issue, refer to the article: "Dishwasher does not switch on, does not start a cycle, does not automatically open the door at the end of a cycle" 9. Contact an Authorised Service Centre. If the above suggestions do not resolve the issue, we recommend requesting a visit by a service engineer. Warning: We do not recommend using the product until the problem has been completely fixed. Unplug the product and do not plug it in again until you are certain that it is OK to do so.
