SOURCE: no sound though home theater when watching tv
There is an orange button on the remote, half way down in the middle. I belive it has orange lettering and says something like "TV-?" press that, and the sound should start to come through your speaker system. You can then use the original remote that came with your TV and turn the sound off on the TV to use just the theatre system. I noticed that if you use the TV speakers in conjunction with the theatre system, that it echo's.

you need a fibre optical cable for this, simply you connect that from your dvd to tv and then set the input on the dvd to digi in. i have exactly same home cinema system.
SOURCE: I have an older Kenwood
Use the red and white looking audio outs on your TV next to your yellow video out they are together (RED, WHITE, YELLOW). These are known as RCA jacks. Find a RCA wire and connect it to the AUX input of your receiver and the output of your TV. Turn your receiver to AUX mode and it should work.
Testimonial: "Thanks!"
Before you start, make sure that:
• your TV is a 3D TV, and is connected
to your home theater through HDMI,
• your disc is a Blu-ray 3D disc, and
• you have 3D glasses that are
compatible with your 3D TV.
or the 'Fault' could be that the 3D is turned off
From Page 18 of the Manual
Play 3D discs in 2D
1 Press ( Home ).
2 Select [Setup] > [Video] > [Blu-ray 3D
video] > [Off] .
3 Press OK .
4 Play your Blu-ray 3D disc.
» The 3D video is displayed in 2D.
If it is selected as Off then obviously turn in On.
