Firstly, get a screwdriver compatible with the psp,Take the faceplate off.And dust the analog section of the psp with a very soft brush.Reason why there might be dust that is malfunctioning your analog stick.Make sure you take off the analog faceplate though

The game's character doesn't moves the way i want it.

When you're starting your Wii, starting the game, AND connecting the Nunchuck or classic controller to the Wii remote, make sure you don't move the control sick on your Nunchuck or classic controller.
Your character shouldn't move around possesed if you do this.
If you accidently move the control stick, press and hold the A,B,+, and - buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

If this problem still occurs, your Nunchuck or classic controller might not be working properly. Return them for a new one.

When in a psp game the game charater moves on its own how can i stop this [on all my games] psp fairly old

The problem you described is a problem INSIDE of the psp. If you know a regular nintendo controller with the 4 direction pads used to control a characters movement that is exactly what is under your joystick inside of the psp. Something is stuck and the only solution is to take apart your psp ( which will void the warranty) or send it in for repairs

Psp control Panel problem

try to play other games, and if the control panel still doesn't work, you will need to have it checked...the problem most likely lies on the hardware itself and not on the software.overall, regardless whether you're using the control panel for games or other functions,as long as it's not responsive, chances are the issue is with the psp hardware console.hope this helps.

Controller problems

Have you gone back and tried that game again? And were you using one (or both) of the two sticks to move in that game, or were you using the directional pad.

The dual shock controllers on the PS2 have a small, easily overlooked button between the two sticks. It has a red light directly above it. If you push that button, the light will switch on and off. When the light is on, you can use the sticks in pressure sensitive mode. For example, if you push the stick a little, your character may walk, but if you push it further in a direction he will run instead. It's used differently in different games. But certain games won't operate unless that feature is either on or off (again, it varies by game).

My guess is that the button was accidentally pressed while you were playing, and suddenly the controller didn't work. But when you switched games, most games will turn the light on when they start up, if they need it, so the problem corrected itself.

Psp trouble

Hello, can you please explain in more detail about what is happening? Maybe if you were playing a lot of PSP, your keys might be jammed up in the circuit boards and when you play a game, some things are kind of pushing it to move the character.
Second question, in the main menu, is anything moving by itself?
