There is a control unit that is apart from the keypad. There should be terminals that allow you to connect lights and alarm devices. It would be a big help if we knew the model of the system that you have.
It is possible to hone the cylinders and replace the rings to save the pump but don't remove too much metal as there are no oversized rings available for this type of piston/cylinder set. Also make sure to find out what caused the scoring in the first place and remedy that or you'll be replacing the cylinders and pistons next time.
In Internet Explorer, type "192.168.0.1" into the address bar. The Username will be "admin" and the password should be left blank. Click on the "Setup" tab on top and "Wireless Settings" on the left. This is where you can find/change your wifi network info. Don't forget to SAVE your changes.

if you don't know your security code, then you will need to reset the router (Use the reset button on the back) then you should be able to connect wireless unsecured. from that point you can type the default gateway IP address (192.168.1.1) in the address line of internet explorer, this will open the web interface of the router (Leave username blank, admin for password) then you can re-enable wireless security and pick a new code (I recommend an old 10 digit phone number you can easily remember but hard for others to guess)
