Touch screen Not working, touch function disabled

1.Press the Windows logo key + X.
2.Select Device Manager from the list.
3.Click the little arrow next to Human Interface Devices to expand the list.
4.Click the touch screen driver (in my case, NextWindow Voltron Touch Screen).
5.Right-click, and select Disable from the list.
6.Click Yes on the dialog box that asks if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.
7.Restart your computer
When you want your touch screen to work again, follow the process above, EXCEPT when right-clicking the touch screen driver, select Enable

Start menu. Control panel. Go from there with keyboard options and it should work. OR research stick keys/ on screen keyboard

The issue can be with the flex of your phone that connects to the touch screen. The connection might be loose thereby disabling the touch screen functionality.

The best solution is to take it to Samsung repair shop and get it repaired by an expert. They are well experienced with touch phone firmware malfunction issues.

the touch screen has failed, it is the most COMMON problem with this system, the unit must be replaced to correct this

function key is Fn key on keyboard.
these keys might be in orange color
with the help of these keys you can control sound volume. you can adjust screen resolution like brightness .you can also turn off/on wireless features.These keys are like shorcuts keys to perform few functions on your laptop.

To turn off your the finger pad

You can use the Mouse Properties window to disable the touch pad and track stick or adjust their settings.
Open the Control Panel, and then click Mouse. For information about the Control Panel, see Windows Help and Support Center <findinfo.htm>.

In the Mouse Properties window:
Click the Device Select tab to disable the touch pad and track stick.
Click the Touch Pad tab to adjust touch pad and track stick settings.

Click OK to save the settings and close the window.

If it's similar to the earlier models, as it boots up press f2 to access the bios. in the second or third tab there is an opportunity to disable the touchscreen. It is a part of the mouse function in windows...

The touchpad should be able to be disabled through the BIOS.

Restart the computer, then push F10 to access the BIOS - if F10 doesn't work, try the other function keys and possibly the ESC key. You should find the option to disable the touch pad within the BIOS settings.

To some degree you can use the control buttons on the device but you will be limited to what you can do. I suspect you will find the device impractical to use without the stylus.
