it's power supply fault, check 5volt of the switch, replace the power supply unit ,or you can repair it by changing some capacitors;

If you want to set Print on Both Sides (duplex) as the default setting for all print jobs (even single page jobs) use the following steps.

1. Click Start , Printers or Printers and Faxes from the Microsoft Windows desktop.
2. Right-click the HP Color LaserJet 2605dn_2605dtn and select Printing Preferences (Properties in Microsoft Windows 2000).
3. Click the Finishing tab.
4. Select Print on Both Sides under the Document Options section.
5. Click OK to save the setting and close the Printing Preferences window.
6. Close the Printers or Printers and Faxes folder.

Note:In this scenario, all print jobs, even single print jobs, will be treated as Print on Both Sizes (automatic duplexing) for media that is supported by the duplexing unit. For media that is not supported by the duplexing unit, the job will be treated as Print on Both Sides (Manually) (manual duplex).

Dear, open the duplex cover, at right corner inner side of duplex cover,there is a micro switch which is not getting pressed,see weather duplex cover is completely closing,If copying is going on see the duplex cover is slightly getting open,if so press the duplex cover while copying is don, for confirmation that switch is not activated.

the micro switch in the duplex unit has come loose from slamming duplex unit closed

there is a sw on the duplex unit that tells the copier it is closed my guess is that its broke

Go to the start menu from the windows desktop then go to printers and faxes then when you will see the driver for the AP 3200 click the right click while the pointer is on the driver and then click properties from the drop menu, then go to accessories and see do the Duplex unit is selected but first see do you have the duplex unit on your printer you will easy notice by the picture when you will select the duplex unit.If you have the duplex unit on the printer then just select the duplex unit then click apply and then ok and now you can close the window. now when you will want to print duplex when you will click the print button from the word or PDF document go to properties and select that you want to print duplex

Hello sir; Are you using duplex unit, check your duplex unit.

A "CD" code means some thing is not closed correctly or attached correctly. It has been a very long time scine I worked on one, but I believe that when you added the duplex unit there is a bottom part of the duplex unit that is held on with two screws at the bottom and one shoulder screw at the top. From what I remember is that if the bottom part of the duplex unit is not flush withe copier stand and the top part of the duplex unit the joggers will not move and there is a sensor flag that get stuck in the bottom part of the duplex unit. Also, di you connect all of the connector for the unit that goes inside the copier it's self. You are dealing with a copier that is over 10 to 15 years old. Good Luck

Do you mean your duplex unit is not working on the right side of copier?If so, check your door interlock switch where the duplex unit closes up against the copier.If it is bent or not making contact the oper. panel will not let you select duplex.

Hi There,

The vertical box on the left side of the machine is not closed all the way. Open it, and close it again. It is directly on the left side of the main machine.
