Playstation turning off

Playing any game, the screen goes blank and i notice that the green light has turned red and is blinking. Anyone have a clue as to what is occurring? Thanks

Is the button jammed or loose that might be the problem.which kind are you using original PS2 or slim version?

the button is jammed and is touching the power and shutting it off u will have to open the system and the power and open buttons will be on the top part remove them and put them back that should stop it.

I was playing a game when my ps3 randomly shut off. If I try to turn it on, the light goes from red to blue to green and then blinking red. The same thing happens even if i turn the power switch off/on. ...

Playing any PS3 game and screen goes blank. red light on console blinks.

Common reason is your PS3 has overheated. Turn off system after removing game disc and let system cool. Clear any dust or debris from the vents and if possible, relocate PS3 to more open area.

I was playing a game and it froze and shut off. i try to turn the game back on and it doesnt come on. i see a green light, then the light turns white, and the light flashes red. whats wrong?

i will turn on my ps3 it goes to the main screen shows but the game cd doesn't show so i will have to eject an put it in and it would start playing but it will keep freezing then when i'm playing i will beat a level then freeze so it want save every time

Game stuck/blinking red light

i was playing mw2 yesterday and bam (red light of death) ill prob have to send it to sony but i got the game out follow these steps. 1. turn off at the back. 2. hold your finger on the eject button. 3. turn on again at the back while holding the eject button for a few seconds 4.your playstation should start up and your game should be ejected

u have to wait for about 30 mins before turning it back on
coz when it does that it's tired
