I hit bake & it says off. I can't get the oven 2 say anything but off. Usually I hit "bake" & then up arrow 2 set temp but now as soon as I hit 'bake' or anything else it says 'off'. Hitting cancel doesn't help at all.
Power reset it from the circuit breaker and if this does not help the control panel become more adverse to your selecting, then contact a professional. Sounds like the control board is going out.

Try turning it off at the mains, then whilst turning it on, press and hold the cancel button.
Check the fuse and any other electrics on the same ring; eg. Washing Machine - this can indicate that the circuit breaker has tripped, replace any fuses and check integrity of electric on that circut, then flick it back on.

Are you getting any codes? Sounds like one of your touchpad buttons is stuck. CAUTION: Turn power off to oven at circuit breaker. I would take the control panel off disconnect the ribbon from the touchpad and take a pencil eraser and clean the contacts. Reconnect ribbon connector back together.
