Error f13 on my frigidaire oven how do i fix it

I have a frigidaire gallery series oven and it stopped working the top digital part displayed what looked like a half C and then when I unplugged the oven and replugged it nothing displayed at all on the top digital top, but all the top burners five of them are working, what can you suggest. The "F13" error code means "Bad EEPROM identification/Checksum error".

If reseting the power did not help then according to Frigidaire suggested corrective action the electronic oven control (aka EOC) has to be replaced.

- The part number for the EOC is AP3874704

Something wrong here, i found this part for two drastically different prices and it he part number shows two different items for that part number-please clarify. is the electric oven control part the same as a clock timer part?

Control's internal memory may have
become corrupted.

1- Press Cancel key.
2- If fault returns disconnect power, wait 30 seconds and
reapply power.
3- If the problem persists upon power-up replace the display
board.

Have Frigidaire Gas oven FFGF3053LSF. We had a power surge & F13 code came on display. Power restored, clock works, F13 code is gone- but now a DR code comes on when I push bake or broil button

Exact same thing happened to me. After a power failure my Frigidaire stove worked and the clock worked but bake broil and self clean gave me a DR error. Tried everything to reset nothing worked. When I unplugged and plugged back in I got an f13 code.I changed the control board and the entire oven is back in business!

I HAVE A FRIDGIDAIRE STOVE AND OVEN MODEL #PLES389CC SER. #NF54421685 AND WHEN TURNING ON THE OVEN IT GIVES A F 13 CODE. WHAT COULD THAT BE?

Hi.

F13 means Bad EEPROM check, which in simple words means bad oven electronic control. The EEPROM is memory a chip mounted on the ERC board (oven control module). When the board detects that the data stored on the EEPROM is not valid you get this message.

Try disconnecting power from circuit breaker for ten minutes. If that does not work, try longer, leaving oven off for few hours. If that does not fix the problem, then the control module must be replaced.

if you are confident enough turn off power to boiler and open up the electronics part, check all connections to PCB are tight and not corroded.

Sabrina I do not see an F13 Error Code for Whirlpool, Try unplugging oven for a few minutes and then plug or switch power back on from breaker and it should reset. Also send the exact model number located inside your bottom drawer door or oven door. Getting an F13 error message on my stand alone professional series oven smooth top, how can this be corrected?

F13 does indicate you need to replace the electronic oven control. It means EEPROM/ Checksum error. If you have unplugged and it returns, this is a bad control board.
