Question about Uniden DCT758-4 Phone
We experienced a power failure for a few minutes and our phones(4 of them ) do not work . We tried several resets but nothing helps.The phones(DCT758-4 Phone ) are less than a year old. It seems that the memory may be gone so I treated them like you ould a new installation and that didnt help either. Any suggestions ?? We still see an active screen on each phone but when you try to dial out it says out of range. Thanks.

If you tried the registration process discribed in the book, it is possible that the base may have gotten zapped. Happened to me. Bought a new DCT 758 (cheap at Amazon.com) with only one extra handset and used two of the old handsets with it. It will only support the handset in the base and 3 others, so you can't use all of the old ones (save them for extras).

Tips for a great answer:
1. From the Home screen, press the Menu button.
2. From the Menu, select Settings.3. Scroll down to Privacy and select it.4. From Privacy (settings) select Factory data reset.5. Now, unless you also want to delete all the files from your SD card, make sure "Format SD card/Erase SD card" is unchecked. Then click Reset Phone.
The resetting process might take a few minutes. When it's done, the phone will reboot itself. If you continue experiencing problems with your Android phone, I suggest to contact your carrier.
