Question about Uniden Cordless Phone
I lost the manual for GE DECT 6.0 Cordless Digital Phone # 28115FE1. I don't know how to check my voice mail. Does anyone know how to?

My GE Cordless phone has two handsets. The remote one says "searching". I had this problem last year and I can't get it to reset.
Can you help?

I have more than one handset. Need to know if I'm on one handset is there a code I can use so if someone picks up the second handset to dial they can't listen to my conversation that they would get a busy in use type of signal?

I have the GE DECT 6.0 28112EE2-A, and found this site to be very helpful: http://www.home-electronics.net/ge/pc/IB/27907GE1_IB.pdf. The instructions for accessing voicemail from an alternate location are on page 68. Works for me!

Guest, you should have a do not disturb button on your main handset. just click the button that has the light and then you should have your ring back

You can find a users manual at: http://www.uniden.com/index/manuals_results.cfm?cat=1
You will have to know what model it is, usually you can find that out by looking at the bottom of the base, or on the underside of the battery cover, or under the battery.
As for getting the voice mail, if you use your providers voice mail service, usually you have to dial something like *99 or *00. You would have to contact your phone provider and find out what the number is to reach your voice mail.
