I replace these weights regularly and tighten them up as tight as i can get them (and i am a big chap) so as tight as you can get them with a ratchet and socket.

With the first part of the agitator off you now have to remove another cap off the top of what you now see. Under that will be a bolt that holds the whole bottom of the agitator on.
Your best bet is to refer back to the spare parts shop where you bought the motor. Maybe they supplied the wrong one.....or..there may be an adaptor if the part is compatable...Good luck.....Nomess
Remove lower rear cover on washer, remove large black hose on bottom of drum, and check the filter inside hose, also remove hose onto pump, and check the pump.

Ah,,,,Sounds like drum bearings havee gone the circles iassume is oil from the bearing it will be very noisy on spinen and a lot of play on drum ..quite a big repair..hope you get on ok
Remove lower rear panel of washer, locate and remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of tub, you will find the plastic filter inside the hose, remove and clean.

To exit the TEST mode, press and hold down the "Start/Cancel" button until ALL of the console lights light up. Press both "Start/Cancel" and On/Off buttons simultaneously until " dOFF " appears in the display. The default setting will now appear and the machine can be used normally.
The only way to resolve is to replace the outer tub, no other permanent sollution, what hotpoint mean is that you would not have to replace whole outer drum only the front half.
Bearings faulty or another fault this model suffers from is the concrete balance weight retaining bolts shake loose, if it is the bolts tighten up as soo as possible.
