Rinse aid makes dishes sparkle more as it improves their drying. The rinse aid container is situated on the inside of the door. I had this problem and discovered it was due to a leak. The float switch attached to the bottom panel was operating. Pull out the mains plug, tip the machine on it's side (water will escape so get a mop ready), remove the bottom panel, 3 screws front and back, disconnect the connector from the float switch. Tape the connecter up out of the way and stand your machine back up. Try running it now. If you have a leak somewhere then you will get a puddle under the machine. If no leak, then I would suspect the float switch itself.

Don't buy same problem 2nd time!!!!!!!!!

Wash motor either seized up/ faulty or the is an itme jamming up the impeller. Regards Advisor

Heater elemnt is gone cheep fix , you will need to order this lower element

If you look at the front of the dishwasher, below the door, you will see a red hexagon shaped nut. It requires an 8mm spanner or socket. Turn it clockwise to raise the back, anti-clockwise to lower. It works best if you can lift the back at the same time to take some of the weight off the foot.

Empty out th bottom tray - siphon it , use sponge, whatever, Then clean out the drain and snake out the tubing in there to get rid of any debris that is causing a clog in the works.
