I'm a real novice and i can't figure out from your post how to change anything. Do you think you could take the time to post or email me at [email protected] excatly how to use the menu with no remote? i am totally clueless as to what to push. i push menu but don't know what keys to use to get to the options i want to change :)

Please try again to turn the monitor off. Hold down the Menu button while the monitor is turned off, then press the Power button again to turn the monitor back on. This should unlock your OSD menu. regards

Hello,
It sounds like you have a monitor with a common problem. After a few years some LCD monitors
will blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts called
capacitors overheating in the confined space of the monitor. If you are
good at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix the problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm You can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad parts,replace any that look like the pictures and your monitor should workfine.

replace the parts. The capacitors do need to be installed with the
correct + and -
connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one the
