My zebra LP2824 Thermal printer is driving me nutty. It skips tags between each printed one. I'm printing on thermal labels that are 1.1875x3.375 (2 side by side) so the total measurements are 2.375x3.375. I've tried several times to calibrate the printer as well, but am still having the problem. What am I missing? Oh, and I'm on Vista if that makes any difference. The printer is brand new and we already downloaded the latest version of zebra. Thanks!

Have the printer's sensors been cleaned? This can sometimes cause this problem.

3 questions. 1: what label design software are you using. 2: What is the firmware version. print config label to check. 3: What printer driver are you using.

Possible is not the best printer to work on site-by site labels because the sensors that read the gab are on the midle of the label and possible can't check wen the label start and end. try the printer S4M (sensors on lenf side), or try normal labels and press the botton until flash 2 times and release the botton (calibrate).

My lp 2824 zebra printer is printing too light

I am unsure if this one is a ribbor printer or a thermal......
if thermal the paper might be too old or the print head is going bad. if ribbon try replacing the ribbon, or you have a bad batch of ribbons.

Just one of the double tags is printed on

I assume by double tags you mean 2 labels across the roll.
You need to tell your software that the roll is 2 across.
If using the software that comes with the printer, Zebra designer.
Set your label width to twice the single label and copy the barcode so that you have 2 across the label, then print

Printing a 2.25 in label on Zebra LP2824. Prints

Recalibrate the printer and you should be good to go. Do this by turning the printer off, press and hold the button and turn on the power. When the light flases red let go and it will calibrate, at the end it will do a printout. Reboot the printer and your fixed.
