Toshiba 52WM48 - Dark line across top of screen about 4 inches

replace the vertical ic, LA 7833 and four capacitors near it, i encountered this last two days.change the parts and it ok now.
cost of this parts is about $20.00

Top of the screen Picture Problem

sound like you have 1 or a couple of leaky/bad capacitors in the tv's vertical circuit, typically, there sould be 5 to 10 caps. in all, but you just need 1 bad one to cause your problem. good luck.
