This is a problem that is hard to describe, but I'll try. At the top of the screen an area about 8 inches wide and a little left of center screen, the border (1/16 of an inch wide) has dropped down about 1/8 of an inch in an upside down arc. You can still see the action of the screen above the border line that has dropped. If you don't understand what I'm trying to describe, ask me some questions. The screen otherwise is fine.

I had the same problem and fixed it by replacing the control board. It's a little nerve wracking, but required only simple hand tools. If you'd like to see detailed pictures of the repair check out my blog.

This is a problem within the screen, probably the connection from the internal ribbon connector to the display. Unfortunatly the only way to repair this is to have the screen replaced.
