Hi, I just got a brand new sandisk sansa e250 mp3 player for christmas. I didn't charge it all the way, because it had almost full battery when I took it out of the box. It worked fine for about 1 hour. The battery was about half full when I pluged it in to be charged, I left it there for about 30 minutes and when I upluged it to listen to music the screen froze on "Disconnected" and wouldn't go to menu or anything else, then it shut off and it won't come back on. I tried:
1.Taking out the battery and putting it back in two times.
3.Letting it sit for a while.

ok try to use itunes software or windows media player software. this may be user friendly for you. Use itunes it is best just add everything in the library then select synchronise to your mp3 player. be sure to connect and your computer detect the mp3 player. ok cheers uttam
No You Don't Have To Converter The Tracks. It Depends On How You Put The Tracks On Your Sansa, Do You Drag And Drop Or Do You Sync With Copy To Device In Windows Media Player 9, Or Sync In Windows Media Player
I had the same issue. Brand new Sansa e250 player. My XP SP2 computer would not recognize it. I updated my Windows Media player to version 10. Bingo, all is working now. I previously had version 9. Good luck!
you should try formating it. when you plug it into your computer...
go to my computer
right click on your mp3 player name under " devices with removable storage"
make sure nothing is checked.
and then press start. wait till its done, and it should work.
i can use some to..
