Sansa e250 not working ://

I have a SanDisk Sansa e250. This morning while it was playing it froze. I left it as is for almost 4hrs till it finally ran out of battery and shut off. When I got home I put it on charge and as usual when connected to my PC it started automatically but it only gets up to the part where it shows SanDisk on a black background and nothing more. It doesn't seem to connect to my PC. I tried resetting everything but still had the same problem. Can anybody please help? Could it be an internal problem?
