I replaced the front screen. Bottom 2/3 of screen is now scrambled. Can't do a reset as I can't read screen. What do I do?

Try to re insert the connector to the screen. Resetting won't do anything about hardware issues including the screen. Worst comes to worst, you can by a micro/mini(depending on port type)usb to hdmi and hook it up to a TV or other external hdmi display

RCA chassis# PTK195M4B no picture or sound real light chirp sound

Good set and had very few issues---As someone who worked on a number of them:

Chirp is shutdown or latch circuit being engaged---suspect horizontal output transistor and or High voltage transformer may be bad. The High voltage transformer was so common a failure part I carried one in my vehicle when doing service work in home on these sets.

Look in that area for a short to ground.

Other suspect would be a possible Glycol leak---have to look carefully for that issue.

Emerson 32 flat screen lcd has vertical lines in the right side of the picture. What does it take to fix and cost?

That is the symtom of a bad screen due to the problem in the screen driving circuit which is attached to the LCD panel driving interface board which is attached to the Main board. Expensive to get new screen. It will get worst.

the buttons switches are leaking more than likely this a comon problem in a lot of tvs they start leaking and send a voltage signal to the ics and tv will start doing funny things. Anyway need to replace these switches probley about six of them in all they are mounted on a board behind where you push the power button. Should replace all just to be on the safe side.

JVC A56P575

In the customer menu page thru it until you come to a page that has an item called convergence. move the cursor down to hightlight this and press enter. The next screen will have an Auto on the top line and a Manual of the second line. Hightlight the auto and press enter. The TV will attempt an automatic convergence alignment. BE WARNED>>>It will either correct it or make it worst. If it gets worst then the TV's convergence circuit has aged and is starting to fail. If it corrected it it's the same aging but not as bad, YET. If there is no change or it got worst then you will need to have the TV serviced preferbly by an authorized JVC service center because they have access to the service literature and buttetins.
