My Vevor SM2 is not cooling or freezing It clicks but the compressor does not come on.

Hello! For your Vevor SM2 refrigerator, there could be a few potential causes for this issue, with potential fixes:
  1. Power supply: Ensure that the refrigerator is properly connected to a power source and that the outlet is functioning correctly. Check the power cord for any damage or loose connections.
  2. Start relay or overload relay: The clicking sound you hear could be the result of a faulty start relay or overload relay. These components help start the compressor. If they are defective, they may need to be replaced. Consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer for specific instructions on locating and replacing these relays.
  3. Compressor motor: The compressor motor itself may be faulty and not functioning properly. A malfunctioning compressor can prevent the refrigerator from cooling or freezing. If the compressor motor is defective, it may need to be replaced. It's recommended to contact a professional technician or the manufacturer for assistance with diagnosing and replacing the compressor motor.
  4. Temperature control thermostat: The temperature control thermostat regulates the operation of the compressor. If it is not functioning correctly, it may not be sending the proper signals to start the compressor. Consider checking the thermostat settings and ensuring they are properly adjusted. If the thermostat is defective, it may need to be replaced.
  5. Other electrical components: There could be other electrical components, such as wiring or control board, that are causing the issue. These components should be inspected by a professional technician to determine if they are functioning correctly.
It's important to note that refrigeration repairs can involve working with electrical components and require technical expertise. If you are not familiar with refrigerator repair, it is recommended to contact a professional technician or the manufacturer's customer service for further assistance. They will have the knowledge and tools necessary to diagnose and resolve the issue with your Vevor SM2 refrigerator.

I have a granitime 2 slush machine and the temperature only get to 34 then cycles won't freeze check everything as switch on motor timer setting. Even by passed the timer

If your Granitime 2 slush machine is not freezing and the temperature only reaches 34 degrees Fahrenheit before cycling, despite checking everything including the motor switch and timer settings, here are a few additional steps you can take:
  1. Inspect the freezing components: Check the evaporator coil and any associated cooling elements for any signs of damage, ice buildup, or blockages. Clean the evaporator coil thoroughly and ensure proper airflow around it. If there are any damaged or faulty components, they may need to be repaired or replaced.
  2. Verify refrigerant levels: Low refrigerant levels can hinder the freezing process. If you suspect a refrigerant leak or low levels, it's best to contact a professional technician who specializes in refrigeration systems to inspect and address the issue. They can check and replenish the refrigerant if necessary.
  3. Check the condenser: Ensure that the condenser coils are clean and free from dust or debris. Dirty condenser coils can reduce the efficiency of the cooling system. Clean the condenser coils according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  4. Review the mix ratio and consistency: Ensure that you are using the correct mix ratio and consistency for the slush mixture. Incorrect mix ratios or inconsistencies in the mixture can affect the freezing process. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines or recommendations for preparing the slush mixture.
  5. Consider professional assistance: If you have tried all the above steps and the machine still does not freeze properly, it may be necessary to contact a professional technician who specializes in slush machine repairs. They have the expertise and specialized equipment to diagnose and address issues with slush machines.
It's important to note that troubleshooting and repairing commercial-grade slush machines can be complex, and it's recommended to seek professional assistance if you are not familiar with the specific workings of the machine. A professional technician will have the necessary knowledge and tools to diagnose and resolve the issue effectively.

LG model lmxs30776s coils freezing up

The problem you are describing of the coils freezing up in your LG model LMXS30776S refrigerator and rising temperatures in the refrigerator section could be caused by a faulty evaporator fan or another issue. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem:
  1. Check the evaporator fan: The evaporator fan is responsible for circulating air and maintaining the temperature in the refrigerator section. If the fan is not working properly, the coils may freeze up. To check the fan, unplug the refrigerator and locate the evaporator fan in the back of the freezer section. Use a multimeter to check for continuity on the fan motor, if there is no continuity, the fan motor needs to be replaced.
  2. Check the defrost system: The defrost system is responsible for removing ice build-up on the coils. If the defrost system is not working properly, the coils may freeze up. To check the defrost system, unplug the refrigerator and locate the defrost thermostat and the defrost heater. Use a multimeter to check for continuity on the thermostat and heater, if there is no continuity, they need to be replaced.
  3. Check the temperature sensor: The temperature sensor is responsible for monitoring the temperature in the refrigerator section. If the sensor is not working properly, it may cause the coils to freeze up and the temperature to rise. To check the temperature sensor, unplug the refrigerator and locate the sensor. Use a multimeter to check for continuity on the sensor, if there is no continuity, the sensor needs to be replaced.
  4. Check the air inlet or outlet vents: If the air inlet or outlet vents are blocked, it can cause the coils to freeze up and the temperature to rise. Check the inlet and outlet vents for any blockages and clean them if necessary.
If you are not comfortable working on your own, it is recommended to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and fix the problem. It is important to note that troubleshooting and repairing a refrigerator can be dangerous, so it's important to follow safety precautions and make sure you are familiar with the appliance before attempting to fix it yourself.

ICE O MATIC WON'T HARVEST

The symptoms you're describing could indicate several possible issues with your Ice-O-Matic ice maker. It's possible that the problem could be related to the timer or relay, but there are other components that could also be causing the issue.
Here are a few potential causes for the problems you're experiencing:
  1. Thermostat: If the thermostat is malfunctioning, it may be causing the ice maker to freeze too long, preventing it from entering the harvest cycle properly.
  2. Water inlet valve: A faulty water inlet valve can cause the purge valve to constantly dump water and can also prevent the water reservoir from filling up properly.
  3. Control board: If the control board is faulty, it may not be properly controlling the ice maker's functions, including the harvest cycle.
  4. Harvest assist: If the harvest assist mechanism is not functioning properly, it may not be able to break the ice free from the evaporator plate during the harvest cycle.
Given the complexity of diagnosing and repairing an ice maker, it's best to consult with a qualified technician to diagnose and fix the issue. You can search for local repair services in your area or contact the manufacturer for a referral.

My GE does not freeze nor does the refrigerator work all my food defrosts and goes bad. I unplugg it and plug it back then it starts freezing again. But after maybe two days it stops working again.

may have a faulty thermister device. This could be telling the freezer to go into defrost mode or it might be the timing circuit for the defrost cycle.
Worth getting it checked out by a licensed fridge repair person.

Frig side by side model glrs267zcq1 freezer cool but not frozen no ice

Hello friend, thanks for your post!
I see your Frigidaire refrigerator is not freezing in the freezer section but keeping your fresh food side cool. Some possibilities could be your refrigerator stuck in defrost mode, the control panel, or sealed system. I would recommend performing a reset on your appliance which would be flipping your household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If that does not resolve your issue I would seek assistance from a professional to properly diagnose and repair your appliance. -Matt

Refrigerator and freeze not cooling

Hi there! If your side by side refrigerator unit is not cooling properly there could be several causes. The damper door, between the two doors, is not functioning properly and not allowing the freezer's cool air to move into the refrigerator's side to cool everything down. You also could have a clogged sealed system line or faulty compressor. Do you hear the unit running as normal? Do you notice any side of the unit, or external area, that is severely warm/hot to touch? Make sure the unit is clear of debris underneath and around any coils or connections outside of the unit. You may want to power cycle the unit by unplugging it or turning the circuit breaker off to it for a few moments. If these steps do not prove to be successful, please contact a professional for further assistance.

Ge fridge GSS25LFGww, fridge part freezing food

Hi, Change the controls back to normal settings. Make sure the freezer is getting 0 to 5 above. If the freezer is getting cold enough, try and turn the cold control to 1 and see if the refrigerator shuts off. It sounds like the cold control in not working properly and will need to be replaced. NOTE: The freezer temp has to be right temp or the fresh food side will not work proper.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Frost in Freeze

Hi Frezer Frost.
It sounds like your defrost circuit in the refrigerator has gone south. This melts the ice off of the cooling coil in the freezer section every 8 - 10 hours of run time.
If you are old enough to remember the manual defrost refrigerators, that is why you had to defrost them occasionally. The ice layer on the coil acts as an insulator, preventing the coil from working properly.
Greg.
