Picture went dark, changed the bulb. Now the picture is bright but very blurry. I can't do any adjusting through the menu because the text is so blurry you can't read it. Anybody know what would cause this?

I started reading the manual with your question in mind, but I found that the instructions for screen controls take up about 40 pages. I'll just put the URL for the owners manual here instead. some camera's require you to hold down the shtter button half way to focus. sometime setting get messed up also, make sure it is set to automatic in the set up menu

The mp4's could be contributing to the problem. It's the compression you are seeing. It's the same when my Tivo is playing. It's compressed video. It just makes it seem worse when the screen is dark.

Sounds like a bad DLP chip and they will prob end up replacing the light engine in the set most people dont like replacing this part. Hopefully they get you up and running.
