I have not replaced the battery door but have disassembled an S5000 following the service manual

it looks like once you complete the first step 'Removing the R CABINET ASSY' you can withdraw the hinge pin and replace the battery cover without any more disassembly [see attached image]

How do I replace the battery door on a Sony cyber shot dsc h70?

Unfortunately it will require some disassembly, the battery door has a small axle which has to be pushed out to remove the broken battery door, it has a small spring around the tiny metal axle. Most if not all of these battery doors do require you to remove the whole back panel from the camera, some even the front panel. But for the most part it is quite easy, just look for all the tiny screws around the camera, especially underneath where the tripod socket is located, some screws are on the sides also. Very tedious work and you have to have patients and not loose any of the tiny screws. Don't expect the panels to just drop out or pop out once you remov the tiny screws all around the camera, you still have to be careful and pry the panel off with a plastic spatula of sorts? After removing the back panel you now have access to the battery hinge/axle and need to push the tiny metal pin/axle to one side until you can grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers, it has a small spring around the metal pin. Once you have the new battery door you just assemble backwards and snap on the panel and screw back all the tiny screws you removed, hope this helps?

How to remove door bushings

The only door bushings I am aware of are the ones on the hinge pins. Correct? If not, please clarify what you mean.
New pins come with new bushings, and the hinges are welded on so the pins are pretty much the only items replaceable. Not a fun job - because of the door stop springs you will need a spring compressor, and you will also need a special tool to drive out the old pins. However, both are available from a parts store or Amazon.
Just open the door and support it from the bottom, and then go for it, one pin at a time - for the upper pin, compress and remove the small spring, drive out the old pin, drive in the new pin and put the spring back. No spring on the bottom hinge - just replace the pin.

Door repairs

The doors have a pin and washers that help keep the door functioning right. There is a kit they sell at your local auto parts store for about 10. bucks with new washers and a pin. More than likely the washers are broken and need to be replaced. Its a fairly easy job. Just cut off the clamp at the bottom of the pin push it out and placethe old washers with new washers then place in the new pin with the c clamp at the end.

I have ordered a replacement battery door for a Nikon Coolpix L20 and want to know how to change it.

It's doable. A few things to consider before you start.

1. Make sure it's the door and not the frame of the camera itself. I got a new door and replaced it only to find that the part of the frame that receives the door latch was broken.

2. There are several fragile parts in the camera (notably an aluminum strip on the bottom of the camera, opposite the battery door). I would suggest that if you are nervous about operating on cameras and the like, you find a friend who is comfortable with this.

For removal of the back half of the frame, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xg6vczoliB0

You will need, however to pry off the FRONT part of the frame to get to the pin that holds the battery door. Do this carefully; you don't need to get it off completely to see the head of the pin.

The head of the pin is bent at a 90° angle. The head is about 2 millimeters long. You will need to get a fine instrument (a sewing needle will do the trick) to get beneath it, and pull it out. You only need to pull it out about 3/4 of the way to lift the battery door and slide it off.

Now, just do the above in reverse to reassemble the camera. Snapping the back and front into place can be tricky, so look carefully how the screw holes need to meet parts of the frame before pressing too hard.

Good luck!

How to remove interrior door panel pontiac G6 and replace broken

Remove any bolts/screws you can see then get a plastic crowbar and pry it off. Should have little plastic push pins holding it to door. Make sure you remove all screws though.

Battery door.

Hi, waiting for the replacement part, I had a look at the broken one . I think you may be able to replace just the plastic part without removing the pin. I'll look closer when I get the part.

Door of the Battery compartment broken

To buy a replacement battery door is easy - go to Ebay - buy the replacement or, for the same price (around $20), buy an old camera just for the sake of the door. The second part, replace the door is much more difficult but I found out how to do it. The door has a hinge (a 1 inch long pin) which needs to be slid out from the camera to take the old door out and then to insert the new door. However, this pin just comes out if you open up the camera. To open it up, you need to remove 6 screws with Philips precision screw driver 1.6 mm ($7 at Radioshack) - there are 2 screws on 3 sides of the camera. After removing these screws carefully separate the two parts of the camera - you just need a gap of (maybe ) 1/16, just enough for the pin to slide out, which can be done forcing it out with a sharp knife. After the pin is removed, remove the old door, put the new door in place, put the pin back and use some pressure to join the two parts of the camera together. They join back with a click, put the 6 screws back and it is done.

Canon A75 Battery door

Never did it on an S1, but on other models it required removing the back face of the camera to access the battery doory hinge pin.

Examine your camera, and if this sounds feasible, remove all screws along the perimeter of the camera (keeping track of their sizes and where they came from, write it down with a crude drawing of their locations/sizes). Also look for screws in the battery compartment, and any visible screws behind flaps/doors. Once all perimeter screws are removed, you should be able to remove the back face of the camera by prying it open from the bottom. Once opened, the pin holding the battery door should be able to be slid out, enabling removal of the old door. Then in reverse slide the pin into the new door, and reassemble the camera and its screws.

Batter door replacement

I have the 530, You have to remove the 6 screws holding the covers together. The back cover comes off in one piece, you also have to remove the front cover too (which is held with 2 inner screws, you better use a magnitized screwdriver) please use caution not to disturb the inner board and parts.
Then use a thumb tack to push the holding pin completely thru(watch the spring so not to lose it) remove old door replace with new door, remember to replace the spring before pushing the pin and door back in place.....
Good luck, this can be frustrating if you dont have the right tools, and patience!
