The cordless Shark 15.6v works and picks up dirt but the motorized brush won't turn. I have removed all lint but can't find a tool to take out the screws (not normal phillips head or flat). Maybe there is hair wrapped around the roller. I managed to get some out with a thin blade but the brush still won't turn. I really need the brush for carpeted stairs and hate to buy a new hand held just because one attachment won't work.
The 2 metal pins of the motorized brush are not in contact with the vacuum cleaner. or the Motorized brush is clogged up. You have mentioned that it is cleaned, but still give a thorough inspection. For the metal pins, firmly insert the motorized brush into the air-intake nozzle. This will connect the motorized nozzle to the unit power supply.
Yes, I first read the manual, and did both the things you mentioned. I just tried carefully inserting the brush again and looking for more lint, hair or debris that could be removed from the roller, but although the vac turns on and has suction the brush will not turn. I may have to trash this. Thanks for trying to help. I hoped there was something else I could do that was not in the manual.
