Shark steam mop is leaking water and no steam from the mop

Well got one brought it home worked for five minutes. Went back to walmart exchanged my Shark.Only one box left,looked opened but nothing seemed out of place till I got it home.Must have beeen a previous return somebody was short a funnel for their meth.lab(lol).Now warranty or not have tod to take it apart and see.There is a line that looks like it has a tendency to come off it has a spring inside it.Looks like it just blew apart because of pressure (poor design) Going to reattach it see what happens.

I just had the same problem and I went ahead and opened the steam mop up with a screw driver and there was the grey pump that pumps steam to the mop pads was clogged with hard water build up and unclogged the pump and it worked right away...

SOURCE: My shark steam mop heats up but won't steam. help

My problem was in the mop head itself where flexible tubing meets the plastic. I took out the 4 screws that connect the swivel mechanism, then the two that hold the flexible tube in place. Once that was free I could get a large straightened paper clip in the hole to break out the clog of mineral deposits.
