On our Lexmark T616 , we are receiving 54 Std Network Software Error. Thanks, Can you tell me what to do?

YOU CAN INSERT AN OPTIONAL NETWORK CARD ON YOUR OPTIONAL SLOT THIS SOLUTION IS OK TO USE NETWORK WITH THE PRINTER; THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE ONBOARD NETWORK CARD AND CPU IS BROKEN AND THE SOLUTION FOR USE THE ONBOARD NETWORK IS TO CHANGE THE MAIN BOARD;

SOURCE: Refurbished Lexmark W810N -- communication problems

Hi, looks like you have a defect network card. You'll have to exchange the card.

SOURCE: lexmark 540n 976:0 service network software

Had the same probelm. Resolved it by disabling AutoIP feature in Network Settings. Also set hard IP without DHCP.

How to fix message error 900.00 service RIP software on Lexmark c 530 dn
Does the error pop up when the printer is booting up, receiving information via network, connected via usb, or connected via parallel cable? It could be two problem. If it would post during printing, then it could be cause by a software or network problem. Test the printer in a standalone mode without any usb or network connection, if the error would post upon power up and without any network connection or usb connection then its a hardware problem. If it's a hardware problem, it would require a service call.
