I have the same problem as described in Best solution posted by resolver on 18th. October, 2008 but there is no water in the bottom of the dishwasher. could this be a faulty flood sensor switch? If so where is it located in the dishwasher? Is it the circuit board in the bottom of the dishwasher? My dishwasher is a Fisher & Paykel model no.603
    thanks Ken

Disconnet Dishwasher, Remove lower dishdraw, soak up excess water with a towel, use a hairdryer to dry water especially under grey plastic cover. Then check seal on either dishdraw and make sure they are not kinked or leaking as this has most likely caused the problem. Power up problem should be resolved. Don't leave dishdraw unattended till you validate problem definately fixed.

Hello, I have a Fisher and Paykel DD603I and both drawers have a red light on the play/pause button and won't stop beeping. Can you please help me with a solution to this problem?

Hello,
It sounds like the dishwasher is in flood mode. You would need to dry up the water in the base pan and test. The link below is a video that explains how to repair your fisher paykel dishwasher.

Hello, We have a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher m# dd602 znwn showing After we fixed a hole in the drain line an F1 code still appears and the pump keeps running. What should I do from here?

F1 means that your dishwashers have flooded. You can download the video in the link below to see how to get rid of the error and fix your dish drawer for numerous other problems. If your drawer is noisy you may want to replace the rotors at this time as well.

F1 flashing with a spanner showing

Hi..

F1 code indicates a leak, you will find the water under bottom drawer.Might be the lid probably not sealing well. You have to seal it well properly to fix this error in your dishwasher.

The unit flashes F1 with a spanner sign showing on both drawers

Refer your problem with fisher and paykel DD603 dishwasher. Please clarify how are you able to assess the motor is driving in top gear. Which lights are flashing?

Is this problem in both drawers or just one?

HI my fiser and paykel dishwasher is flashing f1 and is showing a spanner whay does this mean

The F1 error means a flood switch has been activated in the drawer. The spanner means you need to call a technician.

The possible causes are that the solenoid that controls the water inlet does not shut off or the sensor that detects the water level is not working. Also it is possible the water pressure is not optimum for the setting on your unit.

Hi Both drawers show error F1 flashing beeping with rinse light on and both pumps run after power is applied to machine

F1 error indicates flood switch in base has activated, meaning machine has leaked. This causes machine to drain continously, and can only be stopped by switching off power. Not easy to fix if you don't have experience- bottom drawer has to be removed to access flood switch, then machine needs to be test run and checked for leaks. Best to call the professionals!!

We have the Q 2 drawer dishwasher stopped working.

the f1 is the flood sensor....a leak has accured....either a dish to larger or lid motor has failed. will need to remove bottom drawer and soak up water and then let air dry for a day or two....turn off the breaker this will keep it from beeping and running the pumps....after drying unit will run, but need to watch the dishes you put in drawers.
