Unlock scan head xerox phaser 8560
The only time scan heads are locked are when they arrive from the manufacturer or the drive motor has seized up.
The former will need a 5.5mm spinner to remove the packing straps the latter will need Xerox engineer.
Good luck.

Phaser 8560MFP/N System error
The probable situation is that 2 camshafts (020K14800 & 008K02160) have cracked, and now have taken out the Process Motor (127K53240)
Replace all 3 together, and get the "homing the process motor" and "homing the head tilt mechanism" instructions.

Network printer sending message on desktop "
Check the network setups, is it set to DHCP has it been issued with a valid I.p. Address. E.g 192.168.0.123 etc?
try printing out the network setups from the printer, that might shed some light on the problem once you have all the network information at your fingertips it's much easier to make a valued decision.
Good luck.

2. Select Connection Setup, and then press the OK button.

Xerox troubleshooting
Either there is a fault contition that makes the printer reboot or a faulty power supply switching the printer on and off. In the second case it means you need to replace the electronics module as an assembly. This is a very expensive part.
