SanDisk Sansa c150 MP3 Player - Page 4 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Sansa C150 No Space for DB. Please free more than 4.0 MB
are you able to format the player while in msc mode?
right-click on it while in my computer and select the format option, make sure your selecting your mp3 as this will delete all the files off the device. It if says failed to format, try doing it thorugh disk management. To get there you can right-click on my computer and select manage from the drop down menu. From here you will see disk management on the left hand side. Then a larger rectangular box with the drive letter that represents your player, you can right click on this and select format.
Or just try a different computer, if its the same everywhere then youll probably have to end up emailing sandisk, stating everything you tried. They will probably ask you to do a couple more things, but if you keep at it, youll end up with an RMA*.

Playlist creation
well u don't have to use a program for putting music on to ur mp3 player it works like a flash drive so if u go to my computer and go into the device u can put music on like that and then put wat music u want in a playlist into it's own folder and right click it then click create playlist and just to make sure u have the songs in the right order double click the playlist icon and re-arrange as u want. BUT DON"T DELETE THE FOLDER! i have done that a couple of times, when u delete the folder it, the playlist is gone. anyways hope that helps u but if it doesn't email me at
[email protected]
Mismatch Format
I have formatted it. No songs available when opened the playlist. But when I start the unit it shows "NoSpaceForDB Please Please Delete More Than4.0M.B". The property shows the "0 Memory is free".
Frozen at start update
The secret to treating brain damage on the c150 is to definitely use the <http://www.sendspace.com/file/7ge9cr> download. This is a *.rar file and you need to also download the 7zip freeware program to extract the contents of the file to a folder. Read the *.txt message in the folder and follow the directions and you will be back in business. Your c150 will probably occasionally have a relapse so keep the folder on your computer. This works!

Sansa c150 Problem
It sounds like you may have some other removeable storage in your computer...try to rename all removeavble disk to something else...they would be listed under my computer...then you want to clear the history and caches under windows media player...by clicking on tools, options....go under privacy..clear the history and caches..hit ok..and plug your device to a 2.0 usb ports...that should solve the problems you are having..if that doesnt work uninstall your device from the device manager and reinstall it back again...
Sansa c150 player getting Hang
It could be your firmware. Try updating/upgrading the firmware with the firmware updater from www.sandisk.com
This has worked for me. Good luck! (and come back and let us know if it worked!)
Why can't I transfer?
Open up windows media player to see if it recognizes your device...make sure you have the device connected...Click on the sync tab, and then your device should be listed on the right side under devices...if you device is listed there you need to unplug your device and open up my computer...then rename all removeable disk drive you have there...give them a different name instead of removeable disk...open up windows media player..click on tools...to find the tools button if its not there already right click between now playing and library...once find the tools go to options then privacy...you want to clear the history and the caches...then click ok...plug your device back in...windows should detect it..once detected you can just go under the sync tab and drag the songs you want under sync list...hope that helps..
Sansa C150 MTP DB
Tried to do a manual reset for your device....that should reset the firmware......just hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds or until it resets....
Sansa C250
Go to your device menu and click on the usb mode....make sure it says MTP mode or auto...if that doesnt solve the problem...do a firmware upgrade for the device...
I need help!!!
It doesnt sounds like your device is fixeable...most likely you will have to buy another player...the reason you need to buy a new player is because you are not going to be able to see the screen to do a manual reset....therefore no troubleshooting is available for you device...
