Blinking error code C:21:00 how to remove from sony camcorder

For me, the alcohol sensor cleaning didn't work. I did some research on how the sensor works and it turns out the black stuff is conductive in low humidity and resistive in high humidity. That means the circuit need to be cloed to work,, cleaning off the black substrate would only open the circuit furthur, I cant understand why removing the black substrate is working for some people. After cleaning it to no avail, I tried bypassing (shorting) it. To test it I just took an ordinary pencil and filled in some conductive carbon where the black square was. And it worked. I could have bypassed the sensor by shorting the 2 solder contacts, but to reach it I would have to take it all apart. I'll make the bypass permanent when I have a day free.

Hello

Try this. Remove the memory stick your camera. If there is a LOCK switch on the back of the Memory Stick Duo, please be sure to set it to the unlocked position before attempting to delete or write data to the stick. If the switch is left in the locked position when attempting to delete or write, the data on the memory stick may be damaged.

Please reply here if you still need assistance.

Tape unit doesn't release out

Tape mechanism problems can be quite complicated. This will require disassembling the camera to repair the tape mechanism and can be done fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

"FG fault during normal drum operations. Load the tape again, and perform operations from the beginning."

'C' indicates consumer-fixable problem.
'31' indicates the fix method (remove casette).
The 'FG' signal from the capstan motor is the tachometer signal that the camera uses to monitor the rotation of the capstan.

Sony TRV530 has cassette holder stuck half way out

Thats an interruption of the ejection process, either you push it, you were on low battery, the energy was interrupted or you leave the camera in a car and th heat/cold affects it. Try to cheat/reset the camera system: Remove the clock cell, remove the battery or ac/cord at the same time you push the eject button once. Wait for an hour. Place the clock battery. Connect the AC/Charger cord or the battery (it MUST be completely charged). The camera will reset, check out and complete the ejection.

My DCR-TRV530 Digital 8 camcorder got stuck, the

If the tape is wrapped around a head or caught in a pinch roller, then you may be able to remove it with your pen. Underneath the tape is a small hole. Insert a pen or similar object into the hole. This will let you disengage the spindles in the tape. You have to hold the pen in the hole to keep them disengaged. You can then pull out the tape cartridge. This will let you see inside and whatever may be holding the tape in. Hope this helps.
