Fujitsu Plasmavision P42VCA30EH 42 in. Television - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Why is screen not working? Red and green light both blinking?
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

Remote control
If you wish to get its original remote control, contact the authorized service center for Funitsu. They only can provide you the original one. 0048,0038,0014,009,002,005 are the common setup codes to Fujitsu Brand TVs. If you're using a universal remote control now, check these codes to setup.

No sound coming from TV....recently
I think you are muting the the remote before you relocated...you need a remote to un-mute the sound of your TV...this cannot be done using the volume control in your TV unless you have the remote...if you loss the remote...buy a universal remote control

My fujitsu plasmavision works sometimes
A pleasant and good day!
The problem could be the power supply.
That problem is usually happen when the output voltage of the power supply got a voltage drop or fluctuation.
This is the procedure on how to fix that problem:
- Remove the back cover of your TV.
- Plug-in the power cord of your TV and power it ON to perform a voltage data or voltage check.
- Test the output voltage of the power supply.Use a multimeter (DC range) then check the 5vdc for the system and logic supply.
- If the 5vdc got a voltage drop when you power ON the
TV.There's a leak or bulge on top capacitor on your power supply
unit,replace it!

I hope this solution will be helpful.Thank you and good luck.

How do you connect a fujitsu p42vca30eh to a BT
You should use a HDMI cable. This cable will carry the audio and video from your Vision box to your plasma screen. Connect the cable to the HDMI port on the vision box and the other end to HDMI 1 on your TV. Once that is done turn on the vision box and then the TV and switch the TV to HDMI 1 using your tv remote and then once you have a picture use your vision box remote to change channels and perform other functions.

Hi I bought a second
I also have the same problem. I think maybe getting an electrician out is our best bet. The cables and connections are so confusing. Hopefully you manage to sort your tv out. It may be an s-video cable that you need. I think I may try that.

My fujitju 42 plasmavision purchased from Harvey
Look carefully:Is this just behind the glass front? If so, somebody or something has leaned very heavily against the screen bending it inwards and fracturing the display layer. If no obvious signs of impact damage, spillage, corrosive sprays etc, try your warranty.

Stuck on Standby, Fujitsu Plasmavision: Model pds4229e-b
I had exactly the same problem with a Fujitsu General PDS4208E. After looking at the forums etc bit the bullet and tracked down an ORIGINAL remote. Paid yesterday, arrived today - batteries in...screen back on!!
One proviso here: Before you pay big money for an original remote (and ONLY they will work with these 2nd generation plasma screens not universal remotes) make sure that your screen WAS working before it was in the standby mode.
try
http://www.portables.co.uk/ on +44 208 968 1444. Ask for Andy. He seemed to know what he was talking about. About £50 +VAT plus next day delivery charge.
Alternatively borrow mine at £5 a button press!! ;-))

Plasmavision tv
sounds like you bought a USA model tv which even if you got the adaptor you still will not be able to view it. the tv is more likely the US NTSC standard and not the UK's PAL standard. they are not compatible formats.

Snowy picture and Yellowy Whites
Make sure the TV setting is set to or .
A power surge may have reset your ?cable-ready? TV. Check the cable setting on your TV and make sure it is set to or .
If a VCR is connected:
* The VCR needs to be on channel 4.
* VCR may not be ?fine-tuned? to channel 4. Locate and adjust the fine-tuning mechanism until the picture comes in clearly.
* The <3/4> switch may be in the wrong position. Locate the switch on the back of the VCR and set it to <4>.
If a converter is connected:
* Make sure the TV is on channel 4.
* TV may not be ?fine-tuned? to channel
Locate and adjust the fine-tuning mechanism until the picture comes in clearly.
* Determine if the converter is bad. Locate the cable wire coming in to the room and connect it directly to the back of the TV. If the picture is clear, your converter needs to be exchanged. Give us a call or stop by your local office and we?ll switch out your equipment.
Check the fine-tuning of your TV
