As the alarm is on and steady then you most probably knocked the change lever into a position where it detects no paper loaded. The easiest way to check is to load your paper and move the change lever until the error lamp goes out!

Machine stopped - alarm light flashing
just saw this yesterday. remove the top rear paper guide. on the left side between the tractor feed and the input slot for the paper, there is a sensor flag that pivots. check for paper scrap caught under the flag. it prevents the flag movement, causes a paper out alarm.

Hi I am Steve lets get you some help
Based on your description you are running the printed pages or the usage report on a schedule and you are asking the printer to print it out. you need to go into the management software and in the printed pages report either turn it off completely if you don't need the information or make sure it is set to email this info only not the print it.

This would be the print head pins not moving forward or the ribbon bunched up at the top.
Font size
You can change the dfont size from the menu, but that setting afects the entire page of print. You different size fonts are controled from the codes sent to the printer from the software. Recreate the document, or create a document with a sample of that small print and see if the printer prints it.
Changing default paper size
Press & hold shift then press sel to enter menu mode. Press group until the group you wish to change appears in the first column. Press item until the item you wish to change is in the second column. Press set until the setting you want appears in the third column. Press and hold shift then press sel to exit & save your settings.
The default page sizes are; 11", 11-2/3", 12", 14", 17", 5", 3", 4", 5.5", 6", 7", 8", 8.5".
