I was told it didn't have one but my husband did find it. You have to remove the mud guard located under the radiator and it will be on the drivers side of the radiator.

SOURCE: 2003 Ford Taurus wants to die when coming to a stop

TRY THIS AND LET ME KNOW IF IT CORRECTS YOUR PROBLEM
Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls at stops and low erratic idle speed and rough idle, it is the idle speed control air-bypass valve and throttle valve (IAC for short), they get full of gunk over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake

SOURCE: stereo stopped working along with speedometer

It's probably not a fuse. It sounds like your vehicle speed sensor went bad in the transmission. The reason your radio stopped working was because your radio is probably equipped with speed sensitive volume and it requires a speed signal to work.

ALL of my windows stopped working in my 99 ford Taurus. I have no idea what the problem is or even where the fuse it at?

The fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search the window fuse it should be around 30 amps.

2000 Ford Taurus - Installed a new radio and used the Meta 99-5716 install kit with wiring harness. After install, radio, pwr windows, pwr locks, dome light, windshield wipers, and speedomoter have stopped...

Sounds like you have blown fuses which could have happened if you accidently short circuted something while wiring up the new stereo. Check your fuses to see if any of them are blown.

2004 ford taurus occasionaly wont start right up.

Can you tell me if it was in fact the starter? I have an 04 Ford Taurus with 99K miles on it. This week when I started it up, not everytime but often the abs, brake, tire and traction control lights will stay on. Also the computer display will read either park brake engaged or passenger door ajar. I turn it off and start it again and the issue goes away. This morning it acted as though it had a dead battery and I had the clicking sound behind the dash as well as the vibrating needles. Thanks!

1996 ford taurus odometer stopped working

the Speedo in your car is electronic, the problem is the tiny motor that moves the needle is most likely defective, there are no parts for the Speedo available to the consumer from Ford, you must remove the Speedo and have it repaired by a authorized Speedo repair shop. here is a link to a good one I know about.

check the fuse for the speedo, (fuse #35 interior fuse box) if it is ok the electronic speedo will need repair, this is a common problem since Ford went to electronic speedometers.

2002 ford taurus stereo stolen

This may not help as I don't know what color it is, but along with your Power - Accessory wires theres a couple more wires that needs to be hooked to power for the above accessories to work, so I suggest if you havent done so already to hook those wires up and endcap them. You can check which ones are power wires by using a voltometer on them. I had your similar problem and my soultion fixed it.
