Ck your turn signal switch wiring connector because it is more than likely has been hot and melted some connections.

SOURCE: right turn signal doesn't work....the

The most likely repair to this issue is going to be the multifunction switch. If both the sides are working, the flasher module is working and no breakes in the wires are going to be found. The contacts inside the switch are not making contact to activate the right side. The switch will wear through time and is not uncommon. I have replaced quite a few when I was at the dealership. Let me know if you need anything else like instrcutions for replacement.

My 2008 Honda Odyssey's turn signals are not flashing. Can anyone please assist?

The four way flashers and signals are two separate systems and have their own flashers, most are located in or near the fuse or power distribution box

I have no signal lights, left or right, on my 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. I was having a problem with a front bulb not contacting properly making the right signal flash rapidly. I left it flashing while

Check if your emergency flashers still work. You possibly need a new flasher. Some cars have separate flashers for turn signals and emergency flashers, but some they are both together. If your emergency flashers still operate leave them on and find the flasher (follow the clicking noise the flasher makes) and see if there is another flasher right next to it. swap with the emergency flasher and see if your turn signals work again. If so, replace the faulty flasher.

Turn signal will eluminate but not flash. emergancy lights work and flash fine. Have replaced the flasher and turn signal switch.

You know you have 2 flashers right, one for emergency flashers and one for signal lights? Does it refuse to flash on both sides, right and left? Have you checked all bulbs front and back are good?

1997 Chevy Blazer four way flashers working but no left or right turn signals work, help!

find your owners manual, use it to find your fuse panel, read the legend and locate the turn signal flasher and the emergency flasher, exchange them as they are identical. make a mental note to drop by a car parts store and pick up a replacement some day. when you get the replacement, put it in the signal flasher socket and put the old one back into the emergency flasher socket.

Control ?i have a 1997 s10 pick signal flashers ( right and left ) stopped working, fuse replaced no go, all other electrical working ( brakes /emergency flashers etc) what do you suggest mission

The flasher may have gone bad for the turn signal, and there may be a second flasher for the emergency flasher lights. Look and listen for a click of the flasher for the emergency flasher lights. Then, the other flasher is the one to replace.

Good luck on this repair.

Ok a friend gave me a 1996 toyota 4 runner the turn signals only work when u do them maualy rigth or left i CANNOT find the emergency flasher switch location neither ive replaced the flasher relays and the...

Yes your right the emergency flasher switch is the flasher and located in the middle of the dash and it has a triangle on it with a point up and a ! in the middle. It's dark red in color and when depressed lights up red and flashes ( if it's working like it's supposed to ) If the fuse for hazard is blown the flasker won't work on turn singal either. The fuse for the hazard is hot all the time and the turn fuse is only on with the key. You might find that when you find the button and push i thaqt the turn signals work normally and after you find why the flashers doesn't work on hazard then the hazards will work too.
with the hazard switch poped out of the dash ( it just pries out) it'll have lot's of wires one will be hot all the time and another will become hot when you turn the key on. the other wires go to the turn signal switch. If you find that the switch works fine and it still does flash on turn but it does flash on hazard with it on as a hazard go around and look at all of the lights. They have to work on both the frontand the back and the indicators in the cluster ( speedometer head ) If they all work and are bright ( not dim light the running light) The hazard switch is bad as it's the flasher is made into it.

Signal lights not working

The way to check if you need a flasher is to turn on your 4-ways (emergency flashers), if you have emergency -- shut that off and then try both turn signals. I had a flash on my right (OK); The left had lights on both front and rear with no FLASH, which meant that the 2way flasher was not function.

I was told to turn my 4-ways on and it would help me locate my 2way ------ NOT So. I bent, twisted, readjusted and thought some ugly words, but it wasn't so bad once I found it (even though I disasembled almost all the bottom panels of the dash) so here's my version:

I just replaced my 2 way flasher: it was to the right of the steering column and was tucked up high and Clipped in the approximate vicinity where your right kneecap would be as you drive, behind the dash panel. Look for a silver flasher, the one I replaced it with was yellow. My 4-way I Heard on the left side of the column.

Best to you, it wasn't much fun not being able to see, not knowing what I was doing, and not being a young person anymore! But the ol' gal got it done, NOW THE COPS won't be following me for that anymore!!! ...................leathers
