Hello,

The power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Hope this will help in solving the problem, do take care in handling the fault, because it contain high voltage.

What is the model? If it's a CRT TV it's because of the digital transition.

LCD LE26R7 won't turn on after switching off

This is almost certainly a bad main board and it will almost certainly need to be replaced, not serviced.

I'd google for "LE26R7 main board" - check on eBay as well - but frankly if all you have to do is re-plug the TV in order to watch it I'd probably recommend sticking with that.

I predict there won't be a quick fix to this problem other than replacing the main board.

If the red light won't come on it is not getting power.First,try plugging it in to a different outlet,or unplug one of the gadgets you know is working and plug the tv in there.You are simply switching.If you know that there is power coming from the outlet and it still won't come on then you'll have to check the cord;don't go much farther than that without expert help.

TV HAS RED LIGHT SHOWING WILL NOT SWITCH ON

thats just the way they are, i have a 32 inch samsung flat screen and you just have to turn it off from the plug, i guess its a safety thing to make sure you do switch it off by the mains. they used to tell you that in the 70's after the last programme finished at midnight, ''and don't forget to turn off the tv and switch it off by the mains'' i just hope its easy to reach for you

My Playstation 2 damages CD's. The laser seems to melt the disk, making circular scratches. I don't know if the CD is melted (maybe it's scratched by something else in the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM...

If the PS2 is standing upright, switch it to the laying position. Having it stand upright can sometimes cause the drive to damage disks.
