Where can I find the serial number on a canon MP600 please? I was hoping to download some software and serial number might be required. Not sure where to look for it. Thanks

You can download "Drivers & Software" for Win7 (32bit & 64Bit) @ http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp600#DriversAndSoftware

Select your OS ie Win7(32bit) or Win7(64bit).

Disconnect the printer from the PC, and delete the printer you have installed & remove all the software previously installed on the PC. Reinstall the download "Drivers & Software".

Hi,
looking at my collegues comments my I make a suggestion. I have an Mp600 and use Vista, I'm sure you are aware the Mp600 has compatibility issues with Vista. I downloaded all the relevant driver/s software to correct this and it works really well.

You need to click the right button of mouse on installer file and chose 'run as administrator.'

Do you have the disk or file download?

you'll need to download the newest drivers, in english

follow this link to the Canon icon, and enter your model number and operating system.

and make sure it's in English

I hope you have already reset the printer by pressing ON/OFF. If still you get the same error and cannot print at all here is what canon suggest:
