I have a Ricoh Aficio MP 161 that was given me to use at work, I am on a construction site, and we don't have internet access, so I had to borrow a Verison Access card... anyway I have tried to install the printer, i don't have the disk and I am offline, so I don't need the Fax features. I can get it to print just great, but what comes out is not in the language I want, its comes out like it is reading a program report of my document what do i need to do?

    I really liked to help you but I do not understand what is your problem.
    Try to explain more clearly.
    (I have extensive experience with equipment RICOH expecial in this model. This model is very simple)

What was the driver that was installed? Where did you get? Are you sure that was installed the PCL6 for Ricoh Aficio MP 161?

I have a Ricoh Aficio MP 161 SPF. Faxes unable to send. Message on screen: "Cannot connect to DHCP"
one has nothing to do with the other.but to get rid of the cannot connect to dhcp gotouser toolson the top u will see a few tabs.. select the network tab.one of the options will be ip . select it and select specify.then press ok and exit user tools. that will get rid of the cannot connect error.but again it has nothing to do with the faxing

I have copier it given me this code SC 544 & SC 542 & SC 500 can you assist me please .
overload of the main motor or fusing unit (SC 500)

Look at your fusing unit, (rollers, thermistor, lamp, gears...)

and don't forget to reset SC code in SP mode.

Isso é um erro de firmware.
Existe uma actualização que corrige isso. Se tiveres acesso a descarregar os firmwares e se souberes como fazer... O teu problema está resolvido.
Contudo aconselho que ligues com a assistencia tecnica. Contacta com a Ricoh portugal e eles enviam-te um tecnico que saberá fazer isso.

I am trying to set up my Ricoh mp 161 to scan to my mac...need help.
You may need to purchase the PostScript card to do that, generally the Ricoh's don't comunicate with Macs without it, Your local Ricoh dealer should have a "Print Scan" qualified tech that could help you out. I could try to talk you through it, but I don't think this web site has enough space to type it out.
