I have Copier ir5000 the result of output is dirty, there is always black strip on the left long side of the paper (Legal Portrait) what could be the solution for this problem

Try turning original in a different orientation i.e. horizontally vs vertically on top of glass, under lid. Jimmy

look my friend this proplem happend some times put whit paper on paper yo want to copy and print yo woud'nt see any black strip

Fault: Double line & paper is not cutting.
>Check encoder strip, any damage or dirty?
>Clean encoder strip, replace it..
Reason why its not cutting?: Carriage moves to left side to lock & bring the cutter to cut the paper, but if its not reaching proper calculated destination due to dirty or damaged encoder, it wont lock the cutter to bring it out result paper wont cut even cutter in on condition..

clean optics, clean corona assamblies both primary and transfer, still problem remains try change dp spacers.you can also determine by taking a test print from service mod, if it is ok then the problem is in scanning area.

IF you are meaning E602 - replace hdd and system software

Open the cover and put a piece of paper on only half the glass, and make a copy. BLOCK the left side of the glass with the blank paper.
See where it is blank. Most of the times that is a dirty or haved up mirror in the scan head. One of the small mirrors in the black assembly under the lamp. When a digital copier scanner optics become dirty, the image in that area becomes very light .

While coping A3 paper it result in A4 portrait not in landscape which is incomplete.How to manage it?

select scan mode, then select legal on paper select. If you select paper before loading document into the ADF it should go with the size you enter.

hi im jules_09.have you set the paper size first before copying.there is nothing wrong with adf its fine.if you want to use fls go to the program then set the size of the paper and which tray you are going to use each paper tray can be adjusted according to your paper size needs
