Appear service error 5600 my printer is canon ip 1980

I have a canon ip 1300 produces an error(both LED's are alternately blinking one blink for the green led and 5 blink from the orange led) then it will produce an error 5600.

Waste Ink Counter Reset.
Step 1: Manual for Service mode
1. Unplug power and USB.
2. Open door and hold power button.
3. Connect power.
4. Close door, then release power button.
step 2 : Software for Permanant
1. Reconnect the printer cable.
2.Open General Tools software and select (USB PORT)
3 .Choose (SET DESTINATION 1) And it should be reset.
Remark "After service mode Pls use software for permanent reset"

ok first u go to the google and write the canon ip 1980 printer driver and after install the driver and run this folder.. after install the driver printer working ok

Had this error and did the following to solve the problem.
Turn the printer off.
Open the top cover and move the printer cartridge to the left.
On the right you can see a white part.
Press it down.
Turn the printer on.

if that doesnt help then there its better to call canon...
