Hi, I have recently purchased a family fix maxi-cosi seat. I just wanted to ask how the straps can be adjusted as they are too tight for my little one and I can't buckle him in. Please could you let me know as soon as possible. I can't see anything to adjust the straps. Thanks
Kind Regards,
Perminder Shur

Please visit www.maxi-cosi.com and select the country you're in, then select the Tobi carseat and download a replacement user manual which will have information on how to adjust straps and remove fabric.
you have to pull the buckle towards you if they are still jammed check where the bottom buckle join the seat body to see if there is anything stuck in there if not i would recommend taking it back to the shop and get a replacement, i had to do this just 4 weeks after buying mine the straps got jammed and i nearly broke little ones arms trying to get him out!
Hi,
Make sure that when you go to loosen the shoulder straps that the **** strap is pulled toward you, otherwise you cannot make the shoulder straps loosen, this is a safety feature.
Hope this helps.
Maxi cosi in USA charge £1.40 per strap, here in RIP OFF BRITAIN you have to send the seat to Dorel UK by courier £££££ then pay the £30 to fit the strap,
On principle I would not do this
I went to a very nice company that manufacture bespoke car seat belts. I sent them the original and they returned me a shiney new one (That doesn't twist like the originals) for £15 + VAT

Excelent friendly service
Hi,
Yes the **** strap will fit through the hole, although this is a tight squeeze, but often something that people mention as a little tricky.
I hope this helps.
